At First Presbyterian Church, we are a vibrant, diverse, passionate, compassionate community of Christ, joyfully dancing to the rhythms of divine grace. Led by the Holy Spirit, guided by scripture and empowered with the Gospel, we welcome all people, especially young adults and families, to walk the journey of faith.

In our society, in our media Christianity is purported to believe certain things. Sometimes those things go against what we at First Presbyterian believe. In our five minutes using the Bible and its interpretation, we hope to be able to present a position that breaks down what people see in the media and what is practiced not only in our particular ministry setting but by a great multitude of people of faith. Our hope is not to degrade the beliefs of others, but to offer another perspective on being people of faith.

We intend to use examples of faith from the Bible, internet, i.e. twitter, blogs, facebook, websites, etc. as well as invite others to coffee house/pub style conversations in order to understand not only what we can provide for the community of Bend, OR, but also what the community can teach us and what God is saying to us all.
