I wrote a song about a desperate time in my life. I was in a town that seemed to have no opportunity. I was unemployed and my social life was a spiraling mess. I blamed it all on the town of Bend, Oregon. I packed everything I could into my compact car and drove, searching for a new beginning. I drove to Arizona to stay with family and discovered that it wasn't the town it was me. I returned to Bend and have been enjoying the new beginning ever since. I would like to perform the song acoustically with images that represent my situation at the time. |
